The Last Call Invitational
2025 Champions
Craig McElroy
Since 1987, the Last Call has closed the season the same way — one field, one long day, and a trophy worth arguing over all winter.
Born from the Lizard Open at the Derrick Golf & Winter Club, the Last Call has closed the season every year since 1987. Teams play for the Armand Comeau Cup; the Bill Keeley Award honours the player who best carries the spirit of the thing; everyone plays for the story they'll tell at the nineteenth hole.
The 2026 Invitational — the 40th — carries all of it forward. If you've been here before, you know. If you haven't, consider this your invitation.
Register
Registration is handled through the Pards Tour tournament system — the same place the day is run from, so your RSVP lands straight on the field.
What we play for
Two honors have anchored the Invitational for years — one for the team that conquers the field, one for the player who embodies its spirit.
The Armand Comeau Cup
In 2008, the Last Call Cup was renamed the Armand Comeau Cup in memory of Armand, who passed in August 2008.
Armand's life was woven into the Derrick Golf & Winter Club: General Manager from 1961 to 1967, a Director in the early eighties, and Club President in 1987 — the same year the Last Call was born. Anyone who had the chance to meet him, and perhaps share a pint or two, will remember the sense of humour and unshakeable good nature he brought to every room.
The one thing Armand never managed was to win this tournament — his best finish a second place in 2001. It seems only right, then, that his name is now on the trophy itself: every team that hoists the Cup carries him with it, and his memory endures at the centre of the tradition he helped build.
The Bill Keeley Award
Bill Keeley was a constant figure around the Derrick Golf & Winter Club — a founder of the Venerables Golf Tournament and Dinner, and one of the original organizers of the Lizard Open, the tournament from which the Last Call was born. When Bill passed away in 2001, there was no question whose name the award should carry, or who its first recipient should be.
It is presented each year to the player, chosen by his peers, who best carries the spirit of the competition — and who gives something back to the Last Call and the Derrick Club that keeps both going strong.

Game Day
The Last Call is scored live on your phone with Pards Lite — one phone per foursome, every hole straight to the leaderboard. No app to install, no account, no password.
Keep score with Pards Lite
One player per group keeps the card. Here's the whole job:
- Open Pards Lite on your phone — the link is shared on game day.
- Enter your group code — printed on your scorecard and handed out at the first tee.
- Confirm the players on your card.
- Tap a score for each man, each hole. That's it — every tap posts to the live leaderboard.
Watch it live
Following from the clubhouse, the cart, or the couch — the live leaderboard is public, no login needed. The link goes up here on game day, the moment the first group tees off.
The paperwork
Everything you need for the day, posted here as it's finalized in the run-up to the tournament:
